According to Page six (New York Post) Tom Cruise’s movie “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation” will have its world premiere at Austria’s Vienna State Opera house this summer.
The location was picked because Cruise and co-star Rebecca Ferguson filmed a thrilling stunt atop the opera house last summer, when Cruise was seen dangling from a rope in a tux with the beauty in a gold gown. A trailer also shows Cruise in hand-to-hand combat in the theater’s wings.
A New York premiere will follow on July 27, a source said.
Paramount moved the release of the sequel up to July 31 from an original Christmas date. But a rep said that premiere plans are “in the works” and could not be confirmed.
