The 32nd Vienna City Marathon was succesfully staged on Sunday, April 12, 2015 under in ghood weather conditions.
According to Marathon officials, official participants are limited to 9,000. The runners ran the distance of 42.195 km. Aside from the full marathon (42 km.), there were other opportunities for runners, including a half marathon and a business run.
Sisay Lemma of Ethiopia won the race in 2:07:31. Lemma ran alone for the last 15 km of the distance.
The Ethiopian had previously won marathons in Carpi in 2012 and Warsaw in 2013.
A number of Filipinos living in Austria also joined the race.
